- Best Environmental Directories- 637 at the last count so there's bound to be something there you can use!
- DMOZ Ecology Part of the Open Directory Project - a set of links created by human editors
- EcoPortal- links to sites, searches and news all in one site.
- Environmental Sites on the Internet- another huge site (from Sweden this time) with a very large set of individual pages and search engine.
- FREEUS government education site with a huge range of resources covering all aspects of education. Start here for ecology.
- Global Change Master DirectoryGoddard Space Center's huge set of links to global environmental data.
- Infomine- huge resource area with a large range of topics (not just environmental) and search facility.
- Links2Go- a site dedicated to providing lists of good links in a very wide range of topics. Start here for the environment.
- Planet Ark- Australian environmental organisation
- EPA Envirofacts- the US Government's Environmental Protection Agency site for US data. The homepage is also a link to a very large bank of information. Obviously US-oriented but with many global links as well.
- Environment Go!- Huge website and portal for all UK environmental issues.
- Virtual Encyclopaedia of Environment and Nature- part of the RefDesk.com site with numerous links on a range of topics. US-oriented.
- WWW Virtual Library - Environment. - large Collection of sites. Part of the WWW Virtual Library Project. Links to related portal-type sites.
